Why Track Visitation?
• Tracking visitation is important, not just for accounting purposes but for demographic information as well.

• The public and private funding of institutions, such as Museums, depends on accurate and detailed tracking of attendance.

• Marketing, Development, Grant Applications, and Statistical Reports require visitor information beyond attendance figures.

• Data that reflects the demographics, such as the number of school children, local visitors, out-of-town visitors, members, etc. strengthens the Museum's ability to communicate impact on the community, as well as to self-assess.

Once you log-on, you will see the VISTA Category Screen.

Now you're ready to enter visitors.
In the screen shot below, the arrow is pointing to the "Quick" window.

The Quick window is where you will enter visitors—one click for each category of visitor.

For example, if there are 3 adults, you will click on the Adult button 3 times. If there are 2 seniors, you will click on the Seniors button 2 times, and so on.
