Objectives for Section IV:
1. Demontrate how to gather survey demographic information from visitors.
     a. Source Code
     b. Country
     c. Zip Code
2. Demonstrate how to enter the demographic information in VISTA.

Why Is This Information Important?
Demographic information—such as how a visitor became aware of your Museum or learned about a specific event—are valuable for planning your  marketing and advertising plans. Cape Fear Museum's workstation is configured to allow this information to be entered at the end of the ticket sale.
Gather the information by communicating with the visitor.
• Then enter the data into VISTA.

The Survey Demographic page contains
three categories of information.

1. Source Code

the advertising source by which the visitor learned about the Museum.
    i.e. newspaper, radio, television, friend

2. Zip Code
    tip:
The Zip Code should indicate, whether or not, you need to ask about Country of origin.

3. Country of origin ( defaults to the United States)

How will you ask the visitors for this information?
Examples:
1.  Source Code -
How did you hear about the Museum?
2.  Zip Code - May I ask you for your zip code?
