MIT 595 Macromedia Flash Project

This MIT 595 (Fundamentals of Computer Programming) Macromedia Flash project was an introductory Flash project to gain
practice using the program. Prior to developing the project, we discussed the use of logic, JavaScript, and action script to build
the foundations of Macromedia Flash. In order to learn the foundations of Macromedia Flash, we used the Textbook, "Macromedia Flash: Training from the Source" (Chrissy Rey) as a supplement to hands-on coaching by Dr. Jack Tompkins (professor).

The project was to use Flash for the purpose of creating a miniature portfolio of the topics within the MIT 595 course. The project required creating an animated graphic, creating hyperlinks, and incorporating some use of user interaction.

I have included the Flash project I created for review. As you will see, the project is rather simple, but embodies the main aspects of flash as described above in the project requirements. The project has allowed me to understand action script much better, has allowed me to feel comfortable with Macromedia products, and has increased my knowledge and confidence as a developer.
