As a good planner and problem solver that effectively adapts to change, I am offering versatile program management skills and proficiency in multimedia applications, and excel at customer service while striving to exceed expectations. My long term goals are to work in the instructional field as a profession, to serve the faith as a vocation, and to settle down with my family.

*MIT 522 - Organization & Management of Instructional Programs (Grants)
  • CFCC Library Grant Proposal
    • Designed for Cape Fear Community College Library Systems and Technology course that provides instruction to faculty, staff, and students about library resources.
*EDN 520 - Instructional Development (Global, Technological & Socioecnomic)
  • Google Wave Instructional Seminar
    • Designed seminar that delivers training to K-12 teachers on how to use Google Wave online collaboration tool and inform them of its potential classroom applications
  • Supplementary Promotional Video
    • Developed to enhance seminar instruction. It informs learner on product use and implications. Also targets Affective domain of seminar participants.
MIT 500 - Instructional Systems Design
  • Using MS Photo Story
    • This was designed to be used in elemetary school applications by K-12 teachers. It informs them of the online tool and trains them on how to use it. A formal Task Analysis was also designed.
  • Instructional Video
    • This was developed using the design above.
MIT 511 - Multimedia Design & Development
  • Online Porfolio
    • This was a course final project that was designed to include other coursework and display ability in use of multimedia software applications and multimedia theory.

    • Designed to offer instruction on segement of BlackBoard Learning Management System.
  • The Completion Problem Effect
    • Instructonal theory that offers strategy of development of assessment items.
MIT 510 - Design & Development of Instructional Technology
*MIT 595 - Educational Gaming & Simulations
  • GameMaker project
    • Designed to enanhance instruction on nutrition for elementary level students.
  • Instructional Mobile App Report
    • This detailed report describes an instructional mobile app that was designed and developed using Google Android Mobile App Inventor. Designed and developed to offer both instruction on Byzantine chanting and onsite tools to deliver instruction and preform Byzantine Chant tasks.
  • Byzantine Chanting Mobile App
    • This product was developed with the assistance of Fr. Seraphim Dedes as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), who is held in high regard in this field. I do not hold the public rights to sharing his recorded voice, which was used for the Ison Machine part of this product, and therefore cannot share this product with the public at this time (coursework use only).

*MIT 516 - Instructional Video Design & Production
  • Applying for SGA Funding video
    • Designed and developed (including pre & post production) to inform and instruct students on how their student organizations can apply for Student Government Association funding at UNCW.
  • Camera Techniques
    • This video was developed to inform and provide examples of various professional camera techniques.
  • Interactive Class Notes
    • Displays theories and strategies on design and development of instructional videos.

 

MIT 530 - Evaluations & Change in Instructional Development
  • UNCW Office of eLearning Evaluation (WebEx)
    • Summative evaluation on various Virtual Classroom (VC) platforms that were being used by different departments at UNCW, that was to be used for administrative decision making of which single VC to use campus wide.

  • Moodle Course
    • Designed as a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) for Modern Greek.
  • Book Chapter
    • Publication that offers an in-depth discussion on various distance education and learning theories for online instruction.
MIT 542 - Internship
  • OCF National Office - Student Leader Portal
    • This is a prototype that was created for a non-profict organization called the Orthodox Christian Fellowship (OCF) and they facilitate student organizations on college campuses nationwide. The ADDIE instructional design model in its entirety was utilized and the product and all of its components were tested and evaluated thanks to the voluntary assistance of the OCF SAB. This is only a prototype and is not content specific.
*MIT 513 - Computer Based Instruction (Programming)
  • 3rd Grade CBI Module (FLASH)
    • This self-directed instructional module was designed and developed to cater to 4th grade elementary students and provides a lesson that covers some of the new North Carolina Standard Course of Study.
  • Report on Final Project
    • This essay reflects on the process of creating the Computer Based Instruction (CBI).
  • UNCW OCF Assistive Mobile Website
    • This product was designed and developed to provide information and easy access to necessary tools in operation an OCF chapter.
