Be This website has been created to serve as an e-portfolio for Nick Syrpis, a graduate student in the University of North Carolina-Wilmington (UNC-W). He is currently working on a Masters of Science degree in Instructional Technology with a focus on developing online education programs for higher learning.

Description
Given the assignment to choose several pages from a book whose design can be improved on, "Brain-Based Learning," by Eric Jensen, was chosen. Design elements that were enhanced include alignment, proximity, repitition, contrast, motivation, color schemes and clarity. All revisions were made with the proper audience in mind. The two links directly above provide pages from the original text as well as their corresponding revisions.

The image that serves as a logo in the top left corner is the intererior of the Watson School of Education building on the University of North Carolina-Wilmington campus. This image has been captured by Dr. Rayme Pastore and has allowed the designer of this website to uses the image.
