Vista Software is Cape Fear Museum's software of choice
for processing and tracking visitation.
Front desk staff is responsible for operating Vista proficiently
but all staff members need to know how to operate Vista.

This Module will give you step-by-step instruction for using Vista
software to process Cape Fear Museum visitors. The instruction will be presented in
five sections:

Profile Sheet
You will be given a Profile sheet containing the details about the the sample group of visitors you will be
processing. The Profile sheet provides the data you will need to
perform practice activities in sections 2, 3, and 4.
Testing
A pre-test and a post-test, will be given. You will perform the tasks,
required to process visitors, using the real VISTA
software. The results will be used to measure transfer of learning and
the effectiveness of the instruction.
Prerequisites for the Module:
VISTA takes full advantage of the user-friendly environment of the
Windows operating system. Many of the icons in VISTA are similar to the
standard icons of other software programs. Before using VISTA, you
should have at least a working knowledge of Windows.
