Career Goals

Once I have completed the requirements for a Master of Science in Instructional Technology, my intention is to obtain a full-time position working with a corporation, state or federal government, or institution of higher education. This position should be challenging and permitting in regards to autonomy and creativeness. It is also important that the position be people-oriented, as opposed to having little or no interaction with clients or team members.

My short-term goal is to find a job that allows me to utilize my assessment and web design/development skills, while helping build upon my knowledge of instructional design and project management. Following one of my passions, I would also enjoy a position which requires national and international travel. As a long-term goal, I hope to branch out as an independent consultant within the field of instructional technology, since it has always been my dream to own a business and work out of my home.
