Technology Computer-Based Technology as the name indicates includes technology that is stored and/or accessed through a computer. The computer can either be the main source, such as with Computer-Based Training or it can be supplemental to another form of media as with Computer-Aided Training. The computer source can be a microprocessor, PDA, or any other electronic device that will allow for computing functionality. Computer-based training has many capabilities because of the use of the computer as the major source of delivery. In many cases, computer-based technology will be accompanied by print materials, and include audiovisual techniques, but it can be as effective by itself, if designed and developed well.
