Actions

The actions that I used to manipulate design tools while building this tutorial include alignment, contrast, repetition, and proximity.

• Alignment: I made sure that all of the images and text were aligned and used a consistent left-justified arial font throughout the site.
• Contrast: I added contrast to headings and emphasized information by bolding the text and always used contrasting background and text colors to facilitate easy reading.
• Repetition: I used a repeating visual theme throughout the site to make navigation of the site an intuitive process.
• Proximity: I kept my navigation buttons close together, as well as my text and images in order to create a greater sense of unity.
