Management of Delivery Systems

A manager of a delivery system plans, monitors, and controls the way the instructional materials are distributed. Attention is
also paid to hardware and software requirements, technical support for the users and developers, and process issues such
as guidelines for designers, instructors, and support personnel (AECT, 2001).

The ability to manage resources is essential for managing delivery systems. The manager needs to make sure that everyone
and everything is in place to assure project completion on time and at or under budget. The delivery system includes the location,
the form of delivery, and the tools necessary for delivery. A good manage will be able to consider these issues and have ample
methods of accomplishing through a strong support system of staff.
