Introduction

Wanna look great?  Wanna feel great? Well of course you do.  This WebQuest will let you know what it takes to reach your goals from the inside-out.  Just be aware that once you acquire the knowledge, you will need to apply what you have learned to making healthy changes to your lifestyle

One size doesn't fit all. The MyPyramid Plan can help you choose the foods and amounts that are right for you.


The Food Guide Pyramid is one way for people to understand how to eat healthy. A rainbow of colored, vertical stripes represents the five food groups plus fats and oils.

Here's what the colors stand for  
orange
- grains
green - vegetables
red - fruits
yellow - fats and oils
blue - milk and dairy products
purple - meat, beans, fish, and nuts  
   


Use the MyPyramid Plan to help you:

  • Make smart choices from every food group,
  • Find your balance between food and physical activity, and
  • Get the most nutrition out of your calories.
