MIT 500: INSTRUCTIONAL SYSTEMS DESIGN: THEORY & RESEARCH – Connecting a Data Projector to a Laptop Computer – A Self-Instructional Module for Teachers

MIT 515: WEB TEACHING: DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT -  Online Course:  “Teaching and Learning in the 21st Century”

MIT 500 – Based on the identified learner characteristics, a multimedia CD-based training selected for this project.  This allows the training to travel throughout the school building with data projectors.

MIT 515 – Due to the scope of this training initiative, reflective nature of the content and systemic need for initiative awareness, an online course was developed to allow a large number of personnel to participate with a core group of instructors.

MIT 502 – This project was designed as an intervention strategy for adoption and implementation by an entire school district.

MIT 520 – This project was designed as an instructional development plan for a statewide project.

MIT 515 – As a component of strategic realignment, this course served as a key awareness and informational technique aimed at school personnel.

MIT 510 – As a performance improvement plan, this project outlined a training redesign for an entire school district.

MIT 515: WEB TEACHING: DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT -  Online Course:  “Teaching and Learning in the 21st Century”

 

MIT 510 – As a mandated district-wide initiative, teacher web page training was designed for a variety of users and skill levels to facilitate adoption by all personnel.

MIT 502 – As outlined in this project, the intervention techniques that were designed are drastically different from the current level of performance.  A model program was used to collect data and assist in structural planning.  A multi-pronged approach to implementing this change is outlined in this plan.

MIT 515 – This online course is one component of a greater initiative and will be implemented as an awareness and informational course for teachers as the process of change begins. 

Demonstrate a knowledge of the laws and regulations which govern the selection and utilization of media/emerging technology, including copyright, censorship, State Board Regulations, Local Board Policies, etc.

Employ applicable copyright and fair use practices when developing course materials.

MIT 512: COMPUTER APPLICATIONS IN EDUCATION -   Web Site Evaluation Tools for Students and Teachers

 

MIT 515 – Included in the course expectations is an “Online Code of Conduct” and a “Guide to Online Conversations.”  Both of these documents include verbiage derived from a number of sources dealing with both copyright and censorship.

 

MIT 512 – By evaluation sites using a variety of criteria, teachers and students can find more valid and useful information.  Both tools address copyright issues dealing with the use and crediting of content creators.
