About Me

I am a future graduate of the Masters of Science in Instructional Technology program.  I received a Bachelors degree in Spanish with a K-12 teaching license from UNC-Wilmington in 2004. Since then, I have been teaching Spanish at New Hanover High School and am proud to say that I bleed orange and black (our school colors).  I am very passionate about teaching.

Though I am only in my fourth year of teaching, I find myself striving for ways to improve, enhance and ignite interest in learning.  Instructional Technology is a great way to fulfill these strives.   I enrolled in the MIT program in the summer of 2005 to learn more about the integration of technology into teaching and learning to promote students’ learning motivation and outcomes.  My professional goal is to work within the educational field as an instructional designer.
