Artifacts

Rationale

Plan, create, monitor, and facilitate instructional design projects.

Perform basic project management responsibilities

Develop requirements, gather and develop project plans, managing resources and contract management

MIT 510 – Elijah’s – Project Proposal

MIT 520 – PICNICS – Project Management Plan

With these two artifacts, it was required to complete tasks that were basic responsibilities for project managers. The requirements called for the process of planning, creating, monitoring, and facilitating the different stages of instructional design projects.

MIT 510 – Elijah’s – Project Proposal

MIT 520 – PICNICS – Project Management Plan

These artifacts demonstrate my ability to organize an instructional project by creating budgets, creating Gantt charts to show tasks and sub-tasks required, and completing resource allocation. By completing the budget, resource allocation, and Gantt charts each artifact utilizes the project management tools that were available for me to use to complete projects effectively and efficiently.

Manage personnel and facilities

Demonstrate experience in training others

Demonstrate experience monitoring projects to ensure high quality and efficient products

MIT 510 – Elijah’s – Project Proposal

MIT 520 – PICNICS – Project Management Plan

These artifacts include a Gantt chart, PERT chart, and a budget report. These two items demonstrate my ability to use a project management tool to manage personnel and resources that are available for the project. Also, the Gantt and PERT charts for each of these artifacts displays the assignment of specific resources to specific tasks.

MIT 522 - Integrating Technology for School Improvement and the 21st Century Students – Technology Implementation Plan

For each of these artifacts, it was required to plan and implement an organizational change within a given organization. Each of these artifacts required me to determine the need, determine possible causes to the problem, determine possible solutions to the problem and then design, develop, and implement a change within the organization.

Design instructional management systems

Demonstrate experience using course management systems

Demonstrate ability to design and maintain online courses using a LMS

MIT 520 – PICNICS – Project Management Plan

MIT 522 - Integrating Technology for School Improvement and the 21st Century Students – Technology Implementation Plan
