All of these artifacts demonstrate my ability to select instructional materials that promote learning. Each artifact requires a different type of instructional material such as: self-instructional web module, a unit plan that utilizes both technology resources and print resources, ADA proposal that takes into consideration assistive devices, and curriculums that use multiple learning strategies to teach students about penguins while using technology, web 2.0 tools, and print materials.

Each of these artifacts required me to utilize my interpersonal skills, team building techniques, great communication skills, and leadership qualities to integrate a new product into an existing organization. Each artifact allowed me the chance to demonstrate my ability to work in group environments and collaborate with my project group members, and present information to clients and stakeholders.

These artifacts helped me demonstrate my ability to plan for the diffusion of an innovation within an existing organization. Each project required me to determine who were the early adopters and then devise strategies to gradually get everyone within the organization to utilize the innovation.

Demonstrate a knowledge of the laws and regulations which govern the selection and utilization of media/emerging technology, including copyright, censorship, State Board Regulations, Local Board Policies, etc.

Demonstrate knowledge of browser specifications and compatibility issues

Able to create websites that comply with ADA requirements

Demonstrate knowledge of laws and regulations that stem from the use of technology and adhere to all policies and procedures
